U9-U12 Open Practice Plus

Open Leagues

To participate in the U9-U12 Open Practice Plus program, players must be registered in an Open program.

What is the Practice Plus program?

The U9-U12 Open Practice Plus program is a weekly skills development session run by club coaches and our top technical assistants. Players are grouped on the actual day by size and ability.

At Ottawa TFC, we place an enormous emphasis on teaching and inspiring the youth players of the club. Because the club is recognized as a National level club by Canada Soccer, Ottawa TFC takes pride in developing homegrown players into top athletes. In recent years this philosophy has helped us build one of the most respected clubs in the province and country. Game play is included in the program of course, and basic playing concepts are introduced, but the emphasis is on technical soccer skills and physical literacy (overall athleticism).
